Geraldine's Business Meals is based at White Lodge, at Easton in Gordano, Bristol. Just a minute from Junction 19 on the M5, we have excellent access to all parts of Bristol & North Somerset, which means we can reach the majority of our clients premises, within twenty minutes from our base.
We are now completly settled into our new premises at White Lodge, which we have had extensively altered to suit the business, with new kitchen and storage area, so we can now cater for any size function without difficulty. We have recently installed 12 Solar Panels, which means whenever the sky's are clear we can produce enough electricity to supply the kitchen equipment and heat the water, so greatly reducing our carbon footprint!
NEW BUSINESS LAUNCH! Geraldine's Home Grown is the name of a new business venture that will compliment our excisting catering business. The aim will be to provide anyone who enjoys top quality produce whether it is meat or vegetables, from our own resources. We our now rearing Rare Breed pigs such as the British Saddleback, and Gloucester Old Spots, which together with a small flock of sheep, means we can supply a selection of pork or lamb joints,& our home made sausages and burgers, which will be available to order from our website, or direct from our premises in Easton in Gordano. We also will be using much more of our own home grown produce in our buffets, so the eggs will be free range, and the salads will also come from our own garden, if we do not produce it ourselves then we will locally source other producers.
Last year we had our bi annual Environmental Health & Hygiene inspection by the Lead Officer for North Somerset Council. The result of this inspection was that Geraldines were rated as a 5 Star Premises, for the standards we achieved with legislative compliance, the structial condition of premises, and our confidence in food safety management. We have now had a continuous 5 Star award since in 1998, and are justifiable proud of this achievement; and hopefully any prospective new clients can also be assured of our commitment to maintaining these standards when preparing their orders.
